Kein Einzelfall - Rechtsradikale Realitäten in Deutschland

  • © Deutschlandproblem

Hanau, Halle and Kassel, the "NSU" murders and racist pogroms in many German cities. Extreme right-wing structures in the police and the Bundeswehr are being exposed on a weekly basis. The list of so-called right-wing "individual cases" is long and confusing, and the question of the extent of right-wing, racist, misanthropic attitudes in society is becoming increasingly urgent. However, a look at history shows that right-wing violence and right-wing terror networks are by no means new developments in Germany, nor are they a regionally limited problem. The original plan was to make this continuity of right-wing violence tangible in an exhibition with contemporary art and video installations as well as works from video archives. However, due to the Corona pandemic, the entire program has been moved to digital space for the time being and will consist of a series of talks, lecture performances, and lectures and readings that will be released between April 7 and April 16.

On April 16 and 17, the digital congress ANTIFASCISM 2021: Complex Memory - Complex Strategies will take place in the context of KEIN "EINZELFALL." In this event, activist, scientific and artistic perspectives will combine with the expertise of victims of right-wing violence in three thematic blocks. Questions of collective remembering, public space taking, self-reflective activism, intersectional contexts as well as German realities and Hamburg conditions will be explored.

With contributions by Ibrahim Arslan, Cana Bilir-Meier, Ayşe Güleç, Noa K. Ha, Naomi Henkel-Gümbel, Gianni Jovanovic, Heike Kleffner, Ronya Othmann, Massimo Perinelli, Katharina Rhein, Reyhan Şahin, Initiative Sinti-Roma-Pride, Hito Steyerl, among others.
