Dangerous Minds - Festival für transgenerationelle Öffentlichkeiten

Our society is oriented towards the standard of autonomous adults – it is a typology whose construction of stereotypes is solely based on establishing a distinction from all traits ascribed to children, and one that people can only fulfil for a limited time in their lives. DANGEROUS MINDS explores the hypothesis that societies which overcome the dualism of “child” and “adult” are the better societies. They are characterized by a playful way of dealing with rules and power relations, by inclusion instead of exclusion, and they assume the fragility of others and neediness of all. Only the young and the older generation can determine in common what they want to live for (together). DANGEROUS MINDS is directed towards all age groups and tests artistic strategies and practices to deconstruct power structures, train risk assessment, demand participation, grasp at responsibility and (re-)organize as a community.
