Hamburg-based choreographer Jessica Nupen interprets Nikolai Gogol's fable »The Nose« as a wild and imaginative dance rap opera. The expansive processing of greed, hierarchy and tyranny is based on the absurdly funny story in which a nose separates from its owner and embarks on an adventurous journey. For this purpose, the Canadian musician and rapper Josh "Socalled" Dolgin completely rewrites the music. A spectacular stage set as well as an international ensemble of dancing singers and singing dancers create a unique reality full of superstition and inventions.
