After presenting her feminist adaptation of ROMEO AND JULIA at Kampnagel in 2019, Iceland’s most successful choreographer Erna Omarsdottir and her team are tackling another classic: In five cycles of eternal becoming and passing and in an interweaving of ancient and Indo-European sagas as well as contemporary material, she reinterprets the Orpheus myth with a mixed ensemble of actors from Theater Freiburg and dancers from the Iceland Dance Company.
