The exhibition "Roots" gives an insight into different dance styles like Locking, Waacking, Voguing & House, which have their roots in the "Black Dance Culture". On the one hand the exhibition clarifies the mentioned styles and on the other hand it exhibits the US-American influences on the Hamburg dance scene.
In addition to film material and information texts, pictures by the Hamburg artists Melisa Sözeri & Soraya Kohsar are shown.
