Santi White’s music, the 1976 vintage, is simultaneously weird and euphoric, dreary and absolutely accessible. With Santigold nothing sounds like indie or electro or Eighties music, everything sounds like a one-off made according to the rules of her own pop world. A very cool heroine, who knows how to rock.
