Hamburg is holding a debate on the city and its artists and Kampnagel is bringing along the book. As if we had seen it coming, the book “Parcitypate: Art and Urban Space” arrives just in time for the discussions on the Gängeviertel district – a direct result of the much-discussed symposium of the same name, held at Kampnagel in November 2007. We will be presenting the recently published book on 14th January. Hamburg artists will take this as the starting point for their discussion with eminent urban researchers on the relationship between art and the city and the city and art.
