The Hamburg collective One Mother tells the "Circle of Life" in 12 video stations as a loop of procreation and birth, excess and death, hedonism and family bubble. A musical echo of the lockdown blues that awakens post-pandemic longings. Natascha P., Preach and Don Jesogah bring life cycles and basses into vibration with each other, creating different associative, musical-performative vibrations that represent emotional states. The result is a soundtrack of longing for nightclubbers in withdrawal. One Mother not only guarantee beats and attitude from a BIPoC anarcho-punk perspective, but are also notorious for their excessive live events. No wonder, because every member of the collective is a natural rock star! Founded in 2016 as a small collective, the artists of One Mother have now firmly anchored themselves in the German music scene. Their sound varies between hip hop, pop and experimental; everything that corresponds to their feelings and offers an outlet for the merciless world outside.
