Scheich in China (DJ)

Cécile Malaspina (FR) In her latest publication, “An Epistemology of Noise”, Cécile Malaspina leads to a definition that noise investigates the productive role that it can play in the creation of new information and epistemological approaches.

Rashad Becker (DE) In addition to his work as an in-demand mastering engineer, the Berlin artist is one of the most advanced sound researchers from the current experimental music scene. He publishes the series “Traditional Music of Notional Species”.

Autistic Argonauts (DE) are a trio made up of Daniel Voigt aka (Hering und seine sieben Sachen, sicsic Offizier a.D.), Ruth-Maria Adam and Ronnie Oliveras (both Flamingo Creatures, Datashock, Schrein) that mixes tape loops, a distorted violin, an obliquely played clarinet and Dadaist language elements.

Based on musical extremes – metal, hardcore punk and free jazz – Wolf Eyes (US), a band from Detroit, has developed its own aesthetics outside of established genre borders and an innovative sound aesthetic of noise.

Moor Mother (US) is an experimental music project by the US-American musician and author Camae Ayewa. In her afro-futuristic publications, she combines elements of science fiction and magical realism with non-Western cosmologies in order to question the plight of people of color.

Scheich in China (DE) is a part of the Hamburg DJ duo Brenz Hold and makes music in numerous solo projects and groups such as Ex-Kopf or Esmark. As a co-founder of the former Kraniche Club, he knows how to constantly point towards and deconstruct new connections between drone, electronic, noise, metal or hip hop from the depths of remote music in his DJ sets.

Gefördert vom Musikfonds e. V. mit Projektmitteln der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien.
