For his new choreography Adam Linder was inspired by Berndard-Marie Koltès` play „In der Einsamkeit der Baumwollfelder“. It´s about a nighttime deal between two people. But more than an exploration of mercantile activity, it’s a speculation on the individual’s capacity to know the other. “The WANT“ is an exchange sung by four performers, with a libretto that is littered with interjections from Jacques Derrida to Missy Elliott. The language is their commodity.
