Man “decided” to walk upright, Freud claims. But what happens if man gives up this vertical reference – the axis of thinking in and of itself? In his new dance work, Laurent Chétouane first investigates the possibility of having a different relationship to the body, to space and to the environment by addressing this question. In the second part, the bodies – inspired and accompanied by Bach’s „Partita Nr. 1” – test constellations of togetherness in cooperation with the violinist.
