Expectations and skepticism for supergroups are usually high: can artistic quality be multiplied? This is a question that Iceland’s three most influential musicians calmly avoided when they agreed in 2017 to write and release one song per month, each in a few days. »Team Dreams« is the name of this game’s result in the form of an album (Morr Music) – dazzling pop that unifies the qualities of three minds. Sóley Stefánsdóttir, before she started her worldwide career as a melancholic dark elf, already played with Sin Fang alias Sindri Már Sigfússon in his group Seabear. The omnipresent musician Örvar Smárason completes the trio.
