Humanity has long been obsessed with looking into the future. All eras and cultures have had their prophets and seers, wise-people, experts, charlatans and tricksters. In their new project, magician Manuel Muerte and puppeteer Suse Wächsler come together for a séance of a very special kind that will explore the highs and lows of clairvoyance. In an extensive work that will combine puppet-theater with magic, music and performance, they will discover, re-measure and vastly overstep the boundaries between reality and fiction, entertainment and knowledge-production. In the end, the seer Pythia, the voice of the oracle of Delphi, is conjured from the depths of history. The audience is invited to experience obvious manipulation and innocent wonder.
