What is it to be wild? The wolves were ejected over the years out of human living spaces. Bit by bit they approach the cities again, where myths were created about their species. Perhaps it is possible to find out more about wolves by trying looking at the world through their eyes, without attempting to tame them or weigh them down with human attributes?

The Wolf Safari is an extended collective exercise in which the participants encounter each other as wolves in the streets of Hamburg at night. To achieve this we borrow a few features from wolves that make it easier to study the experience of wolves. The change is gradual and everybody can approach it their own way without having to imitate a wolf externally.

The Wolf Safari begins by Wolf School. During the one-hour long training we give you instructions for the wandering, rehearse a few simple techniques and go over the Wolf Safari in more detail. After this we send our participants to the designated territory, where each of the participants starts the wandering alone. The first task is to find the others...

For further information about the project and the life of wolves, please visit our Wolf Safari web page. We highly recommend that each of our participant to pass the Hunters Degree.
