Girl monster number three is all all tangled strings. craft is the new magic word defining the bricolage method. this new trend began in north america, instrumentalizing and reversing the female derogatory cliches attached to traditional hand craft as viewed by the patriarch driven mainstream society.

in this series we are re evaluating traditional female activities as a option to the capitalist value system.
included in the program is a workshop with Kathi Glas (chicks on speed) and Travis Boyer (" flex your textiles") and the first european screening of " Handmade Nation" by Faith Levine, a documentary of the comeback of DIY-art and craft.
a story of self made heroines, a small business and great strategies by Tatty Devine (Rosie Wolfenden and Herriet Vine). The music will be by the wonderful Koko von Napo from Paris.
